Speaking
from his Melbourne home studio where the band are currently recording
new songs Phoebe's guitarist John Smarty said:"We've been
threatening to do a Talking Heads song for ages now especially after
seeing David Byrne's brilliant show at the Regent Theatre over a year
ago now. I was also lucky enough to meet him after the show. As for
which song we have chosen to play at our next gig all I can say is that
it's a track from Talking Heads 3rd album Fear of Music but it won't be Life During Wartime which David Byrne introduced at his concert as being both appropriate and inappropriate".
Joining the Dreamers in a great night of eclectic guitar pop will be Lazy 8. Night starts @ 9.30 pm. $5 entry.
